As the snow continues to fall down (yes, as of right now there is a snow prediction for 2/18), we here at Maud Morgan Arts can’t help but thinking of Spring days – and all the exciting classes we’ll be offering next session.
Spring 2018 will produce our first Introduction to Wood Working for Kindergarteners taught by our talented staff member, Aleigha Howland. Howland has been a part of Maud Morgan starting back in September of 2016 and has been building with kindergartener’s since 2013. Howland has experience teaching in multi medias – last summer one of her biggest projects was painting a mural with her students at a Brockton day camp.
Our wood supply for Winter Session, has been in-kind sponsored by two lumber yards located in Cambridge – Anderson McQuaid and Longleaf Lumber. We thank our Cambridge community in supporting our young artists! Pictured below is a wood worker in progress, from our First and Second grade class taking Wood Working (Section I & II) taught by the amazing, Angela Kimberk.
